POSITION: WHOLESALE CENTER MANAGER IN TRAINING/SALE POSITION

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage Wholesale Center while providing exceptional shopping experience for walk-in customers. Work cooperatively with the sales team to grow existing customer base, create new customers, and meet or exceed sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.
REPORTS TO: Sales and Marketing Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Acknowledge and assist all customers • Enter in Stock/Transfer orders to replenish Wholesale Center • Manage and delegate tasks to Wholesale Center crew • Receive product and post in Picas Database • Stock/Restock Wholesale Center product • Check-in Willcall orders • Adjust Inventory/Post count records • Answer in-coming phone calls and make customer calls on a daily basis • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product knowledge and new programs • Determine customer expectations in order to recommend specific products • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications • Accurately process customer transactions(order entry, customer check out or quotes) • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed • Follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint • Fill requests for catalogs, information or samples • Setup and maintain customer files • Manage time effectively, meet goals and work effectively with sales team • Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, picas data entry terminal, and other common office equipment and software
SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS: • Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to utilize effective selling skills
• Highly Intermediate knowledge of PCs, Windows, Microsoft Office, and the Internet
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree OR 2+ years of professional sales or customer service
• Ability to lift over 25 lbs
PAY RANGE: • $32,000-$35,000
